Having cruised on three different MSC experiences - Fantastica, Aurea, and now the Yacht Club on MSC Seaview - I can confidently say that the Yacht Club is in a league of its own. It's not just an upgrade; it's a private sanctuary at sea, combining elegance, comfort, and indulgence with all the energy and excitement of a full-scale cruise ship.

My Personal Highlights
Suites & Thoughtful Details
My Deluxe Suite on MSC Seaview was pure indulgence. After experiencing a balcony with an obstructed view on MSC Virtuosa, having a larger space and full balcony felt like pure freedom - my "blue-space" to relax and recharge. The bathroom was spacious, wardrobes generous (perfect for a fashion lover like me), and every little detail made a difference: plush towels, bathrobe, slippers, MSC Med products, Venchi chocolate, a bottle of water and glass by the bedside, and even a small treat in an elegant glass box. Turn-down service and nightly touches made the suite feel welcoming and truly special.
Dining, Drinks & Private Spaces
Yacht Club Restaurant: Elevated flavours, exquisite presentation, and attentive service. Extra starters were thoughtfully brought for sharing, never excessive, and highlights included filet mignon and lobster pasta.
Top Sail Lounge: My favourite sanctuary - calm atmosphere, live piano music, premium drinks, truffle and wasabi crisps, ice cream, and canapés ready to enjoy at any time. I could have spent hours there sipping cocktails or warm tea.
Sundeck, Pool & Bar: Serene, private, and beautifully arranged, with comfortable loungers and chill music. The only small note: a more open sea view would be perfect.
Service That Feels Personal
My butler was intuitive, attentive, and polite, always ready with suggestions based on my preferences. Murat Goksel Sengul, Yacht Club Director, set the gold standard - professional, thoughtful, and warm. His entire team reflects his approach, ensuring every guest experience feels truly personalised. Honestly, I thought: "If I had an older brother, I'd want him to be Murat."
Onboard Leisure & Destination Moments
The ship itself is a masterpiece: the atrium is stunning, the Bridge of Sighs feels like a landmark, and theatre shows are first-class. The silent disco under a full moon was magical - the host, Alex, had everyone engaged and laughing.
Destination Highlights
Florence: Private luxury transfer, exclusive dining, boutique visits, and cathedral exploration - a calm, high-quality experience.
Rome: Claire guided us through iconic landmarks including Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Palazzo Vittorio Emanuele II, ending with lobster pasta and Limoncello Spritz.
Palma: Short but sweet exploration with Emma's local insights. Quaint shops, cathedral visits, and plenty of charm.
Genoa: I opted for a rest day to enjoy more time aboard - sometimes relaxation is the highlight!
Wellness, Safety & Sustainability
Unlimited access to the thermal spa was an indulgence I relished, comparable to top land-based spas that cost £200/day. The behind-the-scenes tours of the bridge and engine room were fascinating and educational, giving confidence in MSC's safety measures and technology. MSC's sustainability efforts, such as generating over 80% of freshwater from seawater, make it even more appealing for conscious travellers.
